LPR + Smart Barrier

An integrated solution for car park and campus vehicle entrances. High-definition cameras and a high-accuracy recognition engine, combined with offline billing and multiple payment methods, deliver unattended drive-through access. Eight terminal models across pedestal, column and integrated form factors.

Standard packages

Three configurations, priced per lane

One-in/one-out means a recognition terminal and barrier at both the entry and exit. One server drives up to four cameras, so a dual-lane site shares a single server and costs less than two separate sets. Further lanes follow the same rule, with volume tiers available.

About pricing
  • Figures are indicative ranges. Final pricing is confirmed by formal quotation and varies with configuration, quantity, site conditions and exchange rates.
  • "Equipment" covers the hardware and bundled accessories, landed in Canada. It excludes on-site installation, cabling, civil works, power supply provisioning and permits.
  • "Turnkey" is a starting price: it adds on-site installation, commissioning and system integration, with the final figure confirmed after a site survey. Civil works, trenching and permits remain excluded.
  • Software licences and cloud platform annual fees are quoted separately. Warranty 12 months (excluding misuse, lightning and force majeure). An annual maintenance agreement is available after the warranty period.
  • Supply voltage can be specified for the destination market. Please confirm local electrical standards and compliance requirements before ordering.
Notes for the Canadian market
  • Supply: rated 220V±10% 50/60Hz (198–242V permitted). A Canadian 240V split-phase two-pole circuit falls within this range and can be used directly. A standard 120V receptacle cannot be used directly — provide a dedicated 240V two-pole circuit, or order a 110–120V variant from us. 60Hz is supported.
  • Certification: every Canadian province and territory requires electrical equipment to carry certification from an SCC-accredited body (CSA / cUL / cETL) before an installation can be approved. Each shipment is field-evaluated to SPE-1000 by an SCC-accredited body and labelled unit by unit. This cost is included in the equipment price and is not charged separately. Sustained volume orders can move to full product certification, agreed at that point. Quebec projects additionally require French-language marking, quoted separately.
  • Low temperature: LPR terminals operate at -40℃ to +80℃ (-40℉ to 176℉), covering Canadian winters nationwide. The barrier housings are rated -20℃ to +45℃ (-4℉ to 113℉), which is above winter minimums in the Prairie provinces and the North. Outdoor installations there require a heater kit — a mandatory cost item.
  • Ingress protection: IP44 is broadly comparable to NEMA 3 and IP65 to NEMA 4 (approximate cross-reference, not a certification statement). IP65 models are recommended for Canadian outdoor installation.
  • Plate recognition: the engine supports Canadian plates, with a manufacturer-measured accuracy of 97%.
Capabilities

What this system solves

LPR and barrier at an underground car park entrance
Pedestal LPR terminal
Offline billing: casual vehicles still enter, exit and pay when the network or a device fails — operations never stop
Payments: 7 electronic payment methods and 9 frictionless methods including ETC
Recognition: zoom or fixed-focus cameras, adaptive lighting for difficult conditions, wide-angle capture, QR fallback for unplated vehicles
Barrier: DC inverter motor, 1.5 / 3 s stepless speed, obstacle rebound with angle sensing, convoy mode, reversible handing
Deployment: pre-configured at the factory, five steps to commission after power and network, IOT remote monitoring and event reporting
Outdoor-ready: weatherproof enclosure, auto-brightness display, optional audio and video advertising
